These Terms of Service ("Terms") constitute a legally binding agreement between you and JMK Ventures LLC ("we," "us," or "our"), the operator of GlobalCatholic.ai. By creating an account, accessing, or using any part of GlobalCatholic.ai, you agree to be bound by these Terms, our Privacy Policy, and our Cookie Policy. If you do not agree to these Terms, please do not use the platform. We reserve the right to update these Terms at any time. We will notify you of material changes via email at least 30 days before they take effect. Your continued use of the service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
GlobalCatholic.ai provides AI-powered personalized Catholic Scripture delivery and spiritual guidance. The service includes: daily Bible verse delivery with contextual commentary, theological insights, practical applications, and prayers via email, SMS, or push notification; the "What Are You Going Through?" spiritual guidance feature, which matches your personal struggles with relevant Catholic Bible verses; a personal verse library for saving and organizing Scripture; and access to liturgical calendar content. All Bible verses are verbatim Scripture from approved Catholic translations (NAB, RSV-CE, Douay-Rheims, NRSV-CE). All commentary, reflections, and prayers are generated by artificial intelligence and clearly labeled as such.
GlobalCatholic.ai offers a free tier and paid subscription plans. Free accounts include weekly Sunday Scripture delivery, limited in-app verse generation, and access to the spiritual guidance feature. Paid subscriptions ($8.99/month or $89.99/year) unlock daily delivery at your chosen time via email, SMS, and push notifications, plus unlimited verse generation. AUTO-RENEWAL DISCLOSURE: Paid subscriptions automatically renew at the end of each billing period (monthly or annually) at the then-current price unless you cancel before the renewal date. You authorize us to charge your payment method on file for each renewal period. You may cancel at any time from your account settings or by contacting support@globalcatholic.ai; your subscription remains active through the end of your current billing period. Refunds are not provided for partial billing periods. All payments are processed securely by Stripe. We may change subscription prices with at least 30 days’ written notice; price changes take effect at the start of your next billing cycle.
The reflections, commentary, applications, and prayers provided by GlobalCatholic.ai are generated by artificial intelligence. While we strive for theological accuracy grounded in Catholic teaching, AI-generated content is not a substitute for the teaching authority of the Catholic Church (the Magisterium), pastoral counseling, spiritual direction, or professional advice. All AI-generated content is clearly labeled.
You agree to use GlobalCatholic.ai for personal, non-commercial spiritual purposes. You may not use the platform to generate content for resale, misrepresent AI-generated content as human-written pastoral guidance, attempt to reverse-engineer or exploit the AI system, or use the service in any way that violates applicable law.
GLOBALCATHOLIC.AI IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, WHETHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT. We do not warrant that the service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or secure. We are not liable for any spiritual, emotional, psychological, or other consequences arising from reliance on AI-generated content. TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, JMK VENTURES LLC’S TOTAL LIABILITY FOR ANY CLAIMS ARISING FROM OR RELATED TO THESE TERMS OR YOUR USE OF THE SERVICE IS LIMITED TO THE AMOUNT YOU HAVE PAID US IN THE 12 MONTHS PRECEDING THE CLAIM. IN NO EVENT SHALL WE BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES. Some jurisdictions do not allow the exclusion of certain warranties or limitation of liability, so these limitations may not apply to you.
The GlobalCatholic.ai name, logo, design, and original content (excluding Scripture text) are the property of JMK Ventures LLC and are protected by applicable intellectual property laws. Bible verses are reproduced under the terms of their respective translation licenses. AI-generated commentary and reflections are provided for your personal use only and may not be reproduced, distributed, or sold without our written consent. You retain ownership of any personal content you create within the platform, such as notes attached to saved verses.
You may delete your account at any time from your account settings. Upon deletion, your personal data will be removed within 30 days as described in our Privacy Policy. We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account if you violate these Terms, engage in fraudulent activity, or use the service in a manner that could harm other users or the platform. If we terminate your account for cause, you will not be entitled to a refund for any remaining subscription period.
These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Commonwealth of Massachusetts, United States, without regard to its conflict of law provisions. Any disputes arising from or related to these Terms or your use of GlobalCatholic.ai shall first be attempted to be resolved through good-faith negotiation. If negotiation is unsuccessful, disputes shall be resolved through binding arbitration administered by the American Arbitration Association under its Consumer Arbitration Rules. Arbitration shall take place in Boston, Massachusetts or remotely at your election. You agree to waive your right to a jury trial and to participate in class action lawsuits. Nothing in this section prevents either party from seeking injunctive relief in a court of competent jurisdiction.
If any provision of these Terms is found to be unenforceable or invalid by a court of competent jurisdiction, that provision shall be limited or eliminated to the minimum extent necessary so that the remaining provisions of these Terms remain in full force and effect.
